Is this the World’s most secure Smartphone

Sirin Labs is a startup company which has collected $72 million (£49m) in venture funding, has introduced a luxury smartphone, the Solarin with a significant feature of a “military-grade” safety.

Sirin Labs, run under the supervision of former Google and Sony Mobile workers Tal Cohen and Fredrik Öijer, will finish with the likes of the encryption-targeted Blackphone from various BlackBerry options, Granite Phone, Samsung’s KNOX mobile safety software and Silent Circle.

The company is clearly taking on the competitor brand Vertu and its £6,500 Signature Touch high-end mobile, the Solarin with the cost of £9,500 focused at the “international business person who carries a lot of sensitive information” and “doesn’t want to compromise on usability, quality or design”.

The most significant feature, which the company is highlighting, is security. The device comes with mobile threat protection courtesy of Zimperium, which appears to cease an arrangement of the device, network and cyber attacks based on applications.

Sirin has also collaborated with KoolSpan, a company that has vast experience in mobile messaging and voice security, to strengthen in chip-to-chip 256-bit AES encryption. It is a similar technology that militaries around the world use for secure communications.

In a well kept secret-agent-style role, this safety tech is triggered by a “Security Switch” on the rare side of the device. Once the button is pressed, the Solarin goes to its shielded mode, whereupon it provides its onboard options for completely encrypted messages and calls.

CEO and co-founder of Sirin Labs, Mr. Tal Cohen said, “Cyber-attacks are endemic across the globe. This trend is on the increase. Just one attack can severely harm reputations and finances.”
